Can I buy a single VUELUXE mirror for my own home?

VUELUXE is wholesale-only and does not sell single units direct to homeowners. To purchase a VUELUXE mirror for your own home, contact a VUELUXE-supplied builder, bathroom showroom, or interior designer in your area — they can source the mirror through their trade account. If you are a tradesperson (builder, electrician, plumber, designer), you can open a VUELUXE trade account with an ABN and purchase at trade pricing, regardless of the quantity.

Why VUELUXE is trade-only

VUELUXE’s business model is built around the construction and renovation supply chain — volume builders, developers, bathroom suppliers, and design studios who specify and procure mirrors at scale. Selling direct to homeowners would require a retail infrastructure: individual payment processing, homeowner-facing customer service, retail returns policy, and a showroom or e-commerce presentation layer. None of these exist in the VUELUXE model because they are not part of the trade supply chain.

The pricing structure also reflects this. VUELUXE trade pricing is calibrated for volume — it is more favourable per unit than the retail price of equivalent-quality mirrors in showrooms, but it requires a trade account and a minimum level of commercial activity. A homeowner buying a single mirror for their own renovation cannot access the pricing structure that justifies the wholesale model.

How homeowners can get a VUELUXE mirror

The most direct path for a homeowner is to ask their builder, bathroom designer, or renovation contractor to include VUELUXE mirrors in the specification. If they do not already have a VUELUXE trade account, they can open one at /trade/ — the account is activated within 24 hours and there is no minimum spend commitment. The contractor can then source the mirror at trade pricing and include it in their quote to the homeowner.

For homeowners who are not working with a contractor and want to purchase independently, the alternative is to find a bathroom showroom or fixtures supplier that stocks or can order VUELUXE mirrors. Some VUELUXE trade account holders are bathroom showrooms and can sell individual mirrors at retail pricing from their trade supply. Contact the VUELUXE team and ask for a recommendation of a nearby showroom or supplier — the team can point you toward a local trade account holder who serves retail customers.

For tradespeople — opening a trade account

If you are a tradesperson — builder, electrician, bathroom renovator, interior designer, architect — you can open a VUELUXE trade account with your ABN. The account is available to any registered Australian business. You do not need to meet a minimum volume requirement before opening an account, and you can place orders of any practical quantity once the account is active.

A tradesperson who installs VUELUXE mirrors for their own home under a trade account is using the account appropriately — you are a business owner purchasing a product in your professional capacity. The warranty and compliance documentation apply in the same way as for any trade purchase. The installed mirror is covered by the VUELUXE trade warranty from the date of purchase.

What homeowners should know about VUELUXE mirrors

For homeowners who are evaluating VUELUXE mirrors through a builder or designer, the key product information is available on the VUELUXE website — specification data, compliance documentation, and installation requirements are all public. The trade-only restriction applies to purchasing, not to information. A homeowner who wants to understand what they are getting can review the full product specification and compliance documentation before confirming the specification with their contractor.

The VUELUXE warranty is transferable to the homeowner. A mirror purchased by a builder for a residential project carries the VUELUXE warranty — 5-year LED, 2-year electronics, lifetime frame and glass — from the date of purchase. The homeowner receives the warranty benefit even though they were not the direct buyer. The builder should include the purchase invoice and VUELUXE warranty information in the handover documentation at settlement.

No eBay, Amazon, or retail marketplace sales

VUELUXE does not sell through eBay, Amazon, Catch, or any other retail marketplace. If you see VUELUXE-branded mirrors on a retail marketplace, they are not authorised sales. Authorised VUELUXE mirrors are sold exclusively through verified trade accounts. Mirrors purchased from unauthorised sources do not carry the VUELUXE warranty and cannot be verified for compliance documentation.

For homeowners who have seen a VUELUXE mirror on a marketplace listing, contact the VUELUXE team to confirm whether the listing is authorised — it is unlikely to be. The VUELUXE brand name is registered and unauthorised retail of VUELUXE products is a breach of trade mark rights. The VUELUXE team will advise on the nearest authorised source for the product.
