Does VUELUXE sell on eBay, Amazon, or Bunnings?

VUELUXE does not sell through eBay, Amazon, Bunnings, Catch, or any other retail marketplace or chain store. VUELUXE is a direct-to-trade wholesale supplier and all authorised sales go through verified trade accounts. If you see VUELUXE-branded mirrors on eBay, Amazon, or a third-party retail site, those are not authorised sales. To purchase VUELUXE mirrors, open a trade account directly at /trade/ — or ask your builder, designer, or renovation contractor to source them through their trade account.

Why VUELUXE does not sell through retail channels

Retail channels — Bunnings, Beaumont Tiles, Harvey Norman, online marketplaces — are distribution networks for consumer products. VUELUXE is not a consumer product brand. The wholesale model exists to serve the construction supply chain: volume builders need trade pricing, project specifications, compliance documentation, and account management that retail platforms do not provide. Selling through retail channels would dilute the trade pricing structure and undermine the service model that trade buyers rely on.

There is also a compliance and quality control dimension. VUELUXE mirrors sold through authorised trade accounts come with verified compliance documentation — RCM certificate, IP44 test report, ERAC registration — that the buyer can request and use for building inspections. A mirror sold through a retail marketplace has no such documentation trail and cannot be verified as the authentic VUELUXE product with current compliance documentation.

Marketplace listings — what to watch for

Third-party sellers on eBay and Amazon sometimes list products with VUELUXE branding. These listings may be: grey-market imports of VUELUXE products purchased through unauthorised channels, counterfeit products using the VUELUXE name and images without authorisation, or old stock from discontinued models that may not carry current compliance documentation.

None of these listings are authorised by VUELUXE. A product purchased from an unauthorised listing carries no VUELUXE warranty and cannot be verified for compliance. If the building certifier requests compliance documentation for a mirror purchased through an unauthorised marketplace listing, there will be no documentation to provide. The RCM mark on a marketplace-sourced product may be from a different batch or may be fraudulent.

If you find a marketplace listing using VUELUXE branding, email the VUELUXE team with the URL. Unauthorised use of the VUELUXE brand is a trade mark infringement and the VUELUXE team will pursue the listing for removal.

For homeowners — how to get a VUELUXE mirror

If you are a homeowner who wants a VUELUXE mirror for your renovation, the path is through a trade account holder. Ask your builder, bathroom renovator, or interior designer to source it through their VUELUXE trade account. If they do not have an account, they can open one at /trade/ — it takes less than 5 minutes with an ABN and is activated within 24 hours. The contractor quotes the mirror as a line item in their renovation quote, purchases it at trade pricing, and supplies it to you as part of the finished renovation.

Alternatively, contact VUELUXE directly and ask for a referral to a trade account holder in your area who supplies to residential homeowners — some bathroom showrooms and fixtures suppliers are trade account holders and sell individual mirrors at retail pricing from their trade supply. VUELUXE can point you toward a local source.

Bunnings and other hardware chain stores

VUELUXE is not stocked by Bunnings, Mitre 10, or any hardware chain store. Chain hardware stores source LED mirrors from their own supplier networks — the mirrors they stock are not VUELUXE products. If you have seen a mirror in a hardware store that resembles a VUELUXE product in appearance, it is a different product from a different supplier. The VUELUXE range is available only through the direct trade channel.

For builders who currently source bathroom fixtures from hardware chains, the trade account model offers better pricing per unit, access to compliance documentation, and dedicated account management. The administrative overhead of opening a trade account is one 5-minute form — the benefit is a direct wholesale relationship with a specialist supplier rather than retail mark-up on a product without dedicated trade support.

Specifying VUELUXE on a project

For architects and interior designers who want to specify VUELUXE mirrors on a project, the specification path is: confirm the model from the VUELUXE product range, include the model number and specification in the fixture schedule, and direct the builder or contractor to procure through a VUELUXE trade account. VUELUXE provides specification documentation — RCM certificate, IP44 test report, dimensioned drawings — for architects on request. The procurement is through the builder’s trade account once the project is awarded.

For design studios that specify VUELUXE mirrors across multiple projects, opening a studio trade account allows the design team to confirm specification details, access compliance documentation, and pass the procurement information to the builder directly. Ask the account manager about account arrangements for design studios.
