Do you supply hotels and apartment hotels in Australia?

Yes — VUELUXE supplies hotels, apartment hotels, and short-stay accommodation operators across Australia. Standard hotel specification runs to the VLM-02 or VLM-04 round series with demister. The VLFR-01 frameless oval is used in boutique hotel and serviced apartment installations. Hospitality project orders typically range from 20 to 200 units depending on property size.

Why hotels specify LED mirrors with demisters

The demister is the most operationally relevant feature for hotel bathrooms. In a guest bathroom, the mirror is used immediately after showering — and a fogged mirror creates a poor guest experience and increases housekeeping attention time. A built-in demister pad maintains a clear viewing panel without requiring the guest to wipe the mirror or wait for fog to clear. For hotel operators focused on guest review scores, a bathroom that functions predictably and cleanly at every touchpoint matters.

LED lighting quality is the second reason hotel procurement managers specify VUELUXE. A CRI of 90+ means guests see accurate colour rendition in the bathroom — relevant for guests applying makeup, grooming, or assessing clothing in a mirror with overhead or backlit light. This is a measurable specification, not a subjective claim, and is documented in the VUELUXE cut sheet and compliance pack.

Standard hotel specification models

For standard hotel bathrooms — compact bathrooms in 3.5 to 4.5-star properties — the VLM-02 (round backlit, 600mm) and VLM-04 (round backlit with demister, 700mm) are the most commonly specified models. Both are RCM certified, IP44 rated, and suitable for bathroom zone 2 installation. They are consistently stocked in Adelaide warehouse, which supports large-volume hospitality procurement without requiring factory lead time.

For boutique hotels, serviced apartments, and short-stay properties with a design-led brief, the VLFR-01 frameless rectangular oval and the arch series are the standard recommendation. These models carry a higher per-unit cost than the round series but suit bathrooms where the mirror is a design feature rather than a functional fitting.

Order quantities for hotel projects

Hotel projects at VUELUXE typically involve 20–200 units. A 60-room hotel with one mirror per bathroom is a 60-unit order. A 150-suite apartment hotel with mirrors in bathroom and ensuite requires 300 units — this would typically be structured as two separate orders (main bathroom specification and ensuite specification) to allow for different model sizes if the bathroom layouts differ.

For orders in the 20–80 unit range, Adelaide warehouse stock is the primary supply source. For orders above 80 units or projects requiring a specific model not in stock, factory-direct supply with a 6–8 week lead time applies. Hospitality projects with fixed fit-out schedules should build this lead time into their procurement plan.

Compliance and certification for hotel installations

All VUELUXE mirrors supplied for hotel installations come with RCM certification and SAA electrical safety approval. IP44 test reports are included in the compliance pack. For hotel projects where the building certifier or head contractor requires compliance documentation during the fit-out inspection process, VUELUXE provides a complete compliance pack per model with the order. This covers the certifier’s standard requirements for electrically connected bathroom fittings.

VUELUXE mirrors require hard-wired installation by a licensed electrician. This is standard for commercial hotel fit-outs. The cut sheet and wiring guide provided with each order cover the electrician’s installation requirements.

Apartment hotels and short-stay accommodation

Apartment hotels and short-stay accommodation operators (Airbnb-at-scale operators, co-living providers, student accommodation developers) are a growing category in VUELUXE’s hospitality supply. These projects share characteristics with residential development — consistent specification across many identical bathrooms — but are procured through the commercial fit-out process rather than the residential builder chain.

For short-stay accommodation operators managing existing properties, replacement orders for damaged or end-of-life mirrors can be placed at any time via the trade account. VUELUXE maintains standard hospitality models in ongoing production to support replacement supply for existing installations.

Pricing and terms for hospitality projects

Hospitality project pricing is quoted per inquiry, as with all VUELUXE trade accounts. For projects over 50 units, volume pricing applies. For container-level orders (80–120 units), the best available per-unit rate is available. Payment terms require a deposit at purchase order stage for factory-direct and large warehouse orders, with balance due before dispatch.

VUELUXE can structure hospitality orders to align with project milestone payments — for example, deposit at development approval, balance at fit-out commencement — subject to agreement at the quote stage. This is most relevant for larger projects with long project timelines.
