Why doesn’t VUELUXE publish prices?

VUELUXE does not publish prices because the pricing structure is volume-tiered — publishing a single price would either mislead small-volume buyers (who pay more per unit) or expose the wholesale pricing structure to retail competitors. Trade pricing is provided per inquiry within 24 hours for trade account holders. The pricing is straightforward and transparent once you have a trade account — there are no hidden fees, no rebate structures, and no price matching games. The price you receive in a quote is the price on the invoice.

Why volume-tiered pricing cannot be published

VUELUXE’s pricing has three broad tiers: standard trade rate for smaller orders, mid-tier for medium volume, and container pricing for large orders. A published price for any one of these tiers creates an immediate problem. If VUELUXE publishes the standard trade rate, buyers ordering at container volume — who should be paying less — see a number that anchors their expectations incorrectly. If VUELUXE publishes the container price, smaller-volume buyers see a number that the economics of their order size cannot support.

There is also a competitive exposure issue. VUELUXE’s trade pricing is positioned to deliver genuine value to trade buyers — better than retail alternatives, better than boutique bathroom suppliers. Publishing that pricing publicly allows retail competitors and direct-import competitors to position themselves against it, eroding the pricing advantage that trade buyers currently have.

How to get a price — 24-hour turnaround

For trade account holders, pricing is available within 24 hours of a spec submission. Submit the model number, size, finish, CCT, and quantity, and receive a line-item quote. For projects with multiple mirror types, submit the full schedule — the quote covers every line. There is no minimum quote value and no charge for quoting.

For urgent pricing — same-day quote for a tender due that afternoon — call or email the VUELUXE account team directly and note the urgency. Same-day quotes are available for established trade accounts. For new accounts without a prior relationship, the standard 24-hour turnaround applies while account verification is completed.

What the quote includes

A VUELUXE trade quote includes: line-item pricing per model and quantity, freight estimate for the delivery address (or “freight TBC” if the delivery address is not confirmed), lead time for the specific models quoted (in-stock versus custom), payment terms, and quote validity period (typically 30 days, or project-specific if requested). The quote is issued on VUELUXE letterhead and can be used for project cost submissions and procurement documentation.

For projects that are at tender stage — where the builder needs indicative pricing before a contract is awarded — VUELUXE provides budgetary pricing on request. Budgetary pricing is not a locked quote but gives the project manager a reliable cost basis for the tender. Once the project is confirmed, a locked quote is issued for the purchase order.

No retail sales — why the pricing structure matters

VUELUXE is wholesale-only. The pricing structure exists because wholesale and retail are fundamentally different commercial models. A retail price includes the retailer’s margin, showroom overhead, customer service cost, and returns processing. A trade wholesale price reflects none of these — it is the cost of goods plus the trade supplier’s margin, at volume. Publishing a retail-equivalent price on a wholesale website signals nothing useful to a trade buyer and could mislead a retail buyer about what they can actually purchase.

Trade buyers — builders, developers, bathroom suppliers, designers — understand and work within wholesale pricing structures. The 24-hour quote process is the standard way that wholesale pricing works in the Australian building materials sector. It is not a barrier to purchase — it is the appropriate process for a B2B transaction where the price is correctly set for the buyer’s volume and relationship.

Pricing consistency

VUELUXE pricing is consistent across trade accounts at the same volume tier. A builder ordering 50 units receives the same pricing as any other builder ordering 50 units of the same model. VUELUXE does not negotiate individual exceptions to the pricing tiers — the tier is the tier. This consistency is a deliberate policy: trade buyers can rely on the pricing being the same whether they submit the PO themselves or ask their project manager to do it, and there is no benefit to escalating to a more senior contact to seek a lower price.

Price changes are announced in advance for existing trade accounts. Prices are typically reviewed annually. Trade account holders receive notification of any price adjustment at least 30 days before it takes effect, allowing forward orders to be placed at the current price if the project programme allows.
