Do you offer white-label or builder-branded mirrors?
White-label (unbranded) and builder-branded options are available for container-level orders (80+ units). Standard white-label includes unbranded cartons and custom warranty cards with your company branding. Full white-label — with a custom brand name or logo on the mirror itself — requires a minimum of 200 units and a 12-week lead time. Builder-branded packaging (carton print and packaging tape) is available at the 80-unit container minimum. All white-label options include the same product specification and compliance documentation as standard VUELUXE mirrors.
What white-label means in practice
White-label means the VUELUXE brand does not appear on the product or packaging. The mirror is a VUELUXE-manufactured product to VUELUXE specifications and quality standards, but it is presented as an unbranded product or under the buyer’s brand name. This allows builders, developers, and bathroom suppliers to supply a product that presents as their own brand without the cost and complexity of developing a product from scratch.
White-label is common in the building products sector. Volume builders who supply hundreds of bathrooms per year often prefer to present fixtures under their own brand to create a coherent product identity and avoid homeowner comparisons against the supplier’s retail pricing. The product quality and compliance documentation are unchanged — only the branding is modified.
Standard white-label package — 80+ units
The standard white-label package available at container level (80+ units) includes: unbranded cartons (plain brown carton with no supplier branding), custom warranty cards (printed with the buyer’s company name, logo, and warranty contact details), and custom packaging tape (tape with the buyer’s company name, if required). The VUELUXE RCM mark and compliance label remain on the mirror itself — removing a compliance mark from a certified product is not permitted under Australian regulations.
Unbranded cartons are the simplest option — the carton carries the technical specification label (model, size, IP rating, weight) but no supplier brand. This prevents homeowners from identifying the supplier independently and searching for the product at retail. For builders who want their brand visible, custom printed cartons with the builder’s logo are available but require a carton print MOQ (typically 500 cartons minimum for custom print, or shared across multiple orders).
Full white-label — 200+ units, 12-week lead time
Full white-label involves applying a custom brand name or logo to the mirror itself — typically a small brand badge or etched logo on the frame or touch sensor panel. This is a higher-cost option because it involves the factory customising the product at the manufacturing stage. The 200-unit minimum reflects the factory’s tooling and setup cost for the custom brand application.
Full white-label requires: the buyer’s brand name or logo in the required format (vector artwork), a specification of the logo position, size, and application method (badge, etching, or print), a production sample for approval before full production commences, and a design deposit. The compliance labelling (RCM mark, IP rating, electrical specifications) must remain on the mirror regardless of white-label configuration — this is a legal requirement, not a supplier preference.
The 12-week lead time for full white-label includes: artwork approval (week 1), factory production scheduling and sample production (weeks 2–4), sample shipping and buyer approval (weeks 4–6), full production run (weeks 6–10), quality inspection and pre-shipment photography (week 10), and sea freight to Australia (weeks 10–14). Plan the order timeline from this schedule — do not expect full white-label to ship in 6 weeks.
Builder-branded warranty cards
For builders who supply mirrors to homeowners at project settlement, custom warranty cards allow the homeowner’s first point of contact for a warranty claim to be the builder’s brand, not the supplier’s brand. The warranty card includes the builder’s company name, logo, contact email, and warranty terms. The underlying warranty (VUELUXE 5-year LED, 2-year electronics, lifetime frame and glass) remains in force — the card simply presents it under the builder’s brand.
Custom warranty cards are a practical tool for volume builders who supply 100+ bathrooms per year. The cost of custom card design and printing is minimal at scale, and the brand consistency benefit — the homeowner sees the builder’s brand on every fixture warranty card — is a genuine value-add for the builder’s customer experience. Discuss custom warranty card design with your VUELUXE account manager.
Compliance documentation for white-label products
White-label products are manufactured to the same specification and carry the same compliance certifications as standard VUELUXE mirrors. The RCM certificate and IP44 test reports remain available for white-label products — the compliance documentation references the VUELUXE manufacturing specification, not the buyer’s brand name. For building inspections where the certifier requests compliance documentation for a white-label mirror, VUELUXE provides the compliance documentation under the VUELUXE manufacturing identifier. This is standard practice for white-label products in the electrical sector.
