Do you offer a builder-branded warranty card?

Yes — for volume builder accounts with a standing agreement, VUELUXE can supply warranty cards co-branded with your company name and logo, subject to approval. This allows builders to present the warranty to homeowners under their own brand at handover. A minimum quantity applies for branded print runs.

Why a builder-branded warranty card matters

At residential handover, the homeowner receives a package of documentation covering appliances, fixtures, and fittings. For builders who present a consistent, branded handover experience, having the mirror warranty card carry the builder’s branding — rather than an unfamiliar supplier name — reinforces the quality of the overall package. It also simplifies the warranty claim process for homeowners: if a mirror develops a fault, the homeowner contacts the builder (whose name is on the card), and the builder manages the claim with VUELUXE rather than requiring the homeowner to identify and contact an unknown wholesale supplier.

This arrangement is practical for both parties. The builder maintains control of the customer relationship after handover. VUELUXE processes warranty claims through the builder’s trade account, not directly through the homeowner. The homeowner experiences a seamless post-handover service that reflects well on the builder’s brand.

How the co-branded warranty card works

The co-branded warranty card carries both the builder’s company name and logo and the VUELUXE product warranty terms. The warranty terms themselves do not change — the card covers the same warranty period and conditions as the standard VUELUXE warranty card. The co-branding is a presentation layer: it signals to the homeowner that the builder is standing behind the product, while the underlying warranty support (parts, replacement decisions) remains with VUELUXE.

The card format is a printed card sized for inclusion in a handover pack — typically A6 (100mm x 148mm) or DL (99mm x 210mm). It includes the builder’s logo, the builder’s service contact details, the VUELUXE model reference, the warranty period, and the warranty claim process. VUELUXE provides the card design template; the builder provides the logo and preferred contact information.

Eligibility requirements

Co-branded warranty cards are available to volume builder accounts with a standing purchase agreement. A standing account — as distinct from a project-by-project account — demonstrates the ongoing volume that justifies a custom print run. Single-project builders or builders without an established order history are not eligible for the co-branded card program, as the minimum print quantity would result in a surplus of cards relative to their order volume.

VUELUXE reviews co-branding requests as part of the standing account setup or renewal. Logo approval is required — VUELUXE reviews the proposed co-branded design before approving print. This is a standard quality control step to ensure the co-branded card meets VUELUXE’s presentation standards and accurately represents the warranty terms.

Minimum quantity for branded print runs

Branded warranty card print runs have a minimum quantity because short-run print is disproportionately expensive per unit. The minimum quantity is confirmed at the account setup stage based on the builder’s projected annual mirror volume. A builder fitting 30 houses per year with one mirror per house needs a minimum of 30 cards annually — VUELUXE typically prints in batches that cover 12 months of projected volume.

For builders whose volume makes the minimum quantity practical, the per-card cost is minor relative to the total order value. The cards are supplied with each order lot — builders do not need to manage card distribution themselves, as VUELUXE includes the appropriate number of co-branded cards with each delivery.

The warranty process for builders and homeowners

Understanding how the warranty process works is important before deciding whether the co-branded card approach is right for your business. When a homeowner has a warranty claim, they contact the builder using the information on the co-branded card. The builder logs the claim with VUELUXE — typically by email with the homeowner’s address, mirror model reference, and description of the fault. VUELUXE assesses the claim and either dispatches a replacement unit directly to the homeowner or advises the builder on the resolution path.

This process keeps the builder in the communication loop without requiring them to manage the technical assessment or source replacement units independently. VUELUXE handles the product side; the builder handles the customer relationship. For builders who prefer a fully transparent warranty process visible to their customers, this model works well.

Standard warranty cards for project-by-project accounts

Builders who do not qualify for the co-branded card program receive standard VUELUXE warranty cards with each order. These carry the VUELUXE brand and warranty terms, and direct homeowners to contact VUELUXE for warranty claims. The warranty process is the same; the branding is VUELUXE’s rather than the builder’s. For builders who present a VUELUXE-branded handover document alongside their own handover pack, this still provides homeowners with clear warranty information and a defined claim process.
