How do I become a VUELUXE trade partner?
Three steps: submit a trade account application at /trade/ with your ABN, business type, and estimated annual volume; VUELUXE reviews and activates within 24 hours for verified businesses; then request your first quote — pricing is project-based and provided within 24 hours of inquiry. That is the full process.
Step one: the trade account application
The application form at the trade account page asks for three pieces of information: your ABN (Australian Business Number), your business type (builder, architect, interior designer, property developer, bathroom showroom, hospitality operator, or other trade), and your estimated annual mirror volume. The volume estimate does not need to be precise — a rough indication (for example, “10–20 units per year for project work” or “50–80 units per year for a house program”) is sufficient to help VUELUXE identify the right account structure for your business.
There is no joining fee. There is no minimum annual purchase commitment required to open an account. The application takes approximately two minutes to complete. VUELUXE does not require a credit check or financial statement to open an account — trade accounts operate on pre-payment terms, so creditworthiness is not a barrier to account setup.
Step two: account activation
VUELUXE reviews trade account applications within 24 business hours. Verification involves confirming that the ABN is active (via the ABR database), that the business type is consistent with a genuine trade buyer, and that the application does not contain indicators of a retail or consumer inquiry. The vast majority of applications from genuine trade buyers are approved immediately. Applications that require additional verification — for example, a new business with a recently issued ABN or an unusual business type — may take up to 48 hours while VUELUXE follows up directly.
Once activated, the account holder receives confirmation of their trade account status and the contact details for submitting inquiries and quotes. There is no login portal — VUELUXE’s trade account system operates on direct communication (email and inquiry form), not an e-commerce platform. This reflects the inquiry-based, project-specific nature of most VUELUXE orders.
Step three: requesting your first quote
Once your account is active, you can request a quote immediately. The quote inquiry process is straightforward: specify the model (or describe your requirements if you are unsure of the exact model), quantity, finish preference, CCT preference, and delivery address or state. VUELUXE responds with a formal quote within 24 hours covering per-unit pricing, total, freight estimate, payment terms, and estimated dispatch or lead time.
For buyers who are still at the specification stage and not yet ready to place an order, an indicative price range can be provided without a formal quote. This is useful for architects or developers who need a budget figure for early-stage cost planning before the project specification is finalised.
What kind of businesses qualify as trade partners
VUELUXE trade accounts are open to any business that purchases mirrors for use in a project or for resale through a professional channel. This includes: builders (volume house builders, custom builders, commercial fit-out contractors), architects and interior designers, property developers, bathroom showrooms and retailers, hospitality operators (hotels, apartment hotels, short-stay accommodation), facility managers, and procurement companies acting on behalf of trade clients. Consumer applicants — individuals purchasing for a personal renovation without a business ABN — are not eligible for a trade account.
What being a trade partner actually means
A VUELUXE trade account is not a franchise arrangement, a formal partnership agreement, or a contractual commitment to purchase volume. It is an access arrangement: a verified business relationship that entitles the account holder to trade pricing, 24-hour quote turnaround, sample access, compliance documentation, and the other services VUELUXE extends to professional buyers. The account holder is not obligated to order — it is a standing relationship that can be activated when a project requires it.
The “trade partner” label reflects the nature of the relationship rather than a contractual status. VUELUXE’s trade accounts are operationally partners in the sense that the supply relationship supports the buyer’s business outcomes — delivering compliant, quality-specified mirrors on project timelines — rather than being a transactional one-off purchase.
Volume tiers and account progression
New trade accounts start at standard trade pricing. As an account develops an order history, pricing tier progression is assessed at the account level. Accounts that demonstrate consistent volume — through either standing agreements or a track record of project orders — qualify for volume tier pricing. This is not an automatic step-up at a fixed threshold; it is assessed based on the buyer’s actual usage pattern and discussed at the time of the next significant project order.
For buyers who know from the outset that their volume justifies a standing account (for example, a volume builder with 20+ houses per year), VUELUXE can structure the account at volume tier from the start, subject to a standing purchase agreement being in place.
After your account is active
Once your trade account is active and your first quote is in hand, the procurement process is direct: accept the quote, receive a pro-forma invoice, pay, and VUELUXE dispatches. For ongoing orders, the same process repeats. VUELUXE maintains your account details so subsequent inquiries do not require re-supplying your ABN or account information. Updates to delivery addresses, project contacts, or account details can be submitted by email at any time.
